Students pass through three stages during their six years at the Young Women's Leadership Charter School of Chicago
Seventh and eighth grade students make up the Middle School Academy. Middle School Academy graduates "Move Up" to Junior Academy. Upon completion of the 10th grade they "Step Forward" to the Senior Academy.
Graduation means "Moving Out."
