Each YWLCS student is encouraged to pursue the broadest array of options and opportunities for continuing education and career development after graduation.

Students are exposed to real world opportunities for learning and service. In Junior Academy (grades 9-10), students participate in internships in a variety of Chicago businesses and organizations. This experience helps to broaden their knowledge of the world and the opportunities awaiting them.

In Senior Academy (grades 11-12) the YWLCS provides college and career counseling to meet every student's needs.
